Welcome to Elara! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Elara mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Elara ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using Elara, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Elara is an AI-powered voice journaling application that:
- Calls you at your scheduled time daily for voice journaling sessions
- Records and transcribes your voice conversations
- Generates written journal entries from your conversations
- Tracks your mood and journaling habits
- Provides insights about your journaling patterns

2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

To use Elara, you must:
- Create an account with accurate and complete information
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT

3.1 Free Trial
- New users receive a 3-day free trial to experience Elara
- No payment is required during the trial period
- Your subscription will begin at the end of the trial unless cancelled

3.2 Subscription Plans
- Elara offers monthly and yearly subscription plans
- Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

3.3 Payment and Billing
- Payments are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
- Prices may change with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- We do not provide prorated refunds for partial subscription periods

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or objectionable content
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
